Leaving your pet can be a huge scary process and we would love to make it less stressful for you. We will stay with your four-legged friends in the comfort of their own home. A great option for dogs who don’t love other dogs or if you have cats.
Running Amok is owned and led by Ming. She has spent 14 years in the pet care business. She’s walked dogs, worked in daycares, done grooming and her current obsession is training dogs.
Ming is a student of multiple facets of dog training. She keeps her knowledge updated by attending current seminars and schools. She has graduated the Karen Pryor Academy for dog trainers and attended classes at Michael Ellis School for dog trainers. Keeping herself updated on her skills allows her to help the dogs that she loves.
While no longer practicing Ming has spent a few years in search and rescue with her beloved Beacueron. They are now currently working towards a title in the sport of GRC. Playing hard and working hard together is their passion. They would love to spread that love and help you become the best team you can be.
As a trainer Ming works hard to teach everything positively. She is a limitedly intrusive, minimally aversive when it comes to her training. She believes every dog is different therefore they all require different approaches. Every dog has a plan unique to them. Regardless of what path that dog and parent might take we always start with positive reinforcement training. Food and play are her favorite forms of reinforcement. They would love to teach you how to use them to their highest potential with your dog.
